How Do I Know If My Wiring Needs a Rewire?

We start by checking your consumer unit (fusebox). If you still have old MEM BS3036 rewireable fuses, your wiring likely dates back to pre-1980s and should be replaced.
Socket & Switch Check
Next, we inspect your outlets and switches for signs of wear, decay, or damage to cabling.
Full Electrical Testing (EICR)
We carry out an Electrical Installation Condition Report using specialist testing equipment to identify any hidden faults, resistance issues, or cable deterioration.
You’ll receive a full report on your wiring’s condition — and if a rewire’s needed, the cost of this inspection will be deducted from your rewire.
